Daily Living Products (DLP) – Bayswater, WA
Daily Living Products is one of Western Australia's largest and fastest-growing mobility and home-care equipment providers.
With five retail showrooms, a growing commercial and NDIS division, and a rapidly expanding warehouse and distribution network, we are now seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to take full ownership of supplier strategy, inventory investment and purchasing performance across the business.
This is a management, hands-on commercial role with real influence over margin, cashflow and service delivery.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead all procurement and supplier relationships across retail, commercial, hire and service divisions.
You will move DLP from reactive buying to strategic, data-driven procurement — ensuring the right product is in the right place, at the right time, at the right cost.
This is not a transactional purchasing role.
You will be a commercial leader driving profitability, stock efficiency and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage all supplier relationships (local and international)
Negotiate pricing, rebates, terms, freight and exclusivity agreements
Lead supplier reviews and strategic sourcing decisions
Identify new products and margin opportunities
Procurement & Inventory Control
Develop and manage purchasing budgets and stock investment
Control stock on hand (SOH), turns, ageing and obsolescence
Align buying with sales forecasts, promotions and growth plans
Manage slow-moving, discontinued and clearance stock
Systems & Process
Own procurement workflows in Ostendo ERP
Implement forecasting, min/max levels and automated reordering
Work closely with Warehouse, Sales and Finance to optimise stock flow
Ensure accurate pricing, landed cost and product data
Leadership & Accountability
Provide clear reporting on stock, supplier performance and margin
Support new store openings and regional expansion
About You
You are a commercially minded procurement professional who understands that inventory is cash and supply chain is profit.
You bring
5+ years in procurement, supply chain or commercial buying
Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
Proven control of stock levels, margin and working capital
Experience in retail, wholesale, healthcare, medical or equipment industries (highly regarded)
Confidence working with ERP systems and financial data
The ability to push back, challenge assumptions and improve outcomes
You are structured, analytical and decisive — but also collaborative and practical.
Why Join DLP
Join a fast-growing WA business with real scale and ambition
Work directly with senior leadership. Your decisions will matter
Shape how procurement is run across a multi-site operation
Be part of a business that genuinely improves people's lives
This is a rare opportunity to own and build a procurement function rather than just operate one.
Apply with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience in procurement, supplier management and inventory control.
