We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional to assist in the planning and management of the natural and built environment of our region.
The ideal candidate will have a degree level qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent, and 2 years recent related work experience.
Key responsibilities include assessment of planning and development proposals, providing specialist planning advisory services, and interpreting and administering local environmental policies.
This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week, with a competitive total remuneration package.

* High level analytical and investigative skills including demographic, socio-economic and land use supply and demand analysis
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing planning applications, developing strategic plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve sustainable outcomes.
You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
