Business Growth Specialist

Seeking a dedicated Business Growth Specialist to drive sales and revenue growth across QLD and Northern NSW. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your existing network and relationships with Architects, Designers, Developers, Builders and Contractors to enhance our presence and drive sales.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to read people, excellent communication skills and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role within the architecture and interiors industry.

Responsibilities:

* Developing new and building existing relationships across QLD and Northern NSW to increase sales through proactive engagement and networking.
* Creating and delivering supplier presentations and library sampling requirements.
* Effective communication, follow up skills and knowledge of internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful sales conversions and project delivery.
* Reporting on sales activities, market trends and market conditions and identifying and implementing new sales strategies that align with company objectives.
* Planning, managing and executing events and promotional activities.
* Maintaining our ERP and CRM systems accurately.
* Product and brand knowledge and self-education.

Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience and proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar role within the architecture and interiors industry.
* Exceptional people skills with proven ability to build and maintain successful and trusted relationships and network effectively.
* Strong ability to read people with excellent listening and questioning skills.
* Proactive, results-driven, passionate, committed and highly self-motivated with the desire for continual evolution.
* Positive and humble with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness and a strong sense of integrity, loyalty and honesty.
* Strong time management, follow up and problem solving skills with the ability to deal with and resolve difficult situations, challenges and conflict.
* High level of professionalism, communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
* Persuasive with exceptional storytelling skills.
* Strong ability to prospect, plan and prepare sales activities to develop business.
* Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail yet efficient with a strong ability to prioritise competing deadlines, multitask and refocus as demands shift.
* True brand ambassador with an appreciation for design, materiality and our environment.
* Work effectively in a team and autonomously and without supervision.
* Interstate travel and attendance at industry events.
* Accurate and fast data entry.
* Tech savvy and proficient with Microsoft suite, ERP and CRM software and quick to learn new software.
* Full Drivers' Licence and own car.
* Full employment rights to work in Australia.
