Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist with grain receival assessment and classification via road and rail.
This role plays a vital part in connecting rural communities with food, animal feed, and industrial customers worldwide.
About the Position:
* Collaborate with operational staff to ensure outturn of grain meets specified quality and quarantine requirements.
* Maintain grain quality recording systems during storage periods.
* Assist with daily operations at port, including OHS, grain assessment standards, training and competency records, maintenance and calibration of testing equipment, site hygiene, environmental considerations, and compliance with policies and procedures.
About Your Qualifications:
* You should have sound knowledge of grain receival, outturn standards, and grain quality testing systems.
* An excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for this role.
* A high level of interpersonal skills, including customer relationship management skills, is required.
* You will need strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, databases, and systems, are necessary.
* Experience in a similar lab environment, ideally grain related, is highly beneficial.
