The Lead People Business Partner will provide leadership for the P&C Business Partners and serve as an internal consultant to the organisation on human resources-related issues and needs. They will assess and anticipate HR-related needs and through collaborative partnerships across the organisation, will play a key role in aligning HR services and strategies with organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely, clear and reliable workplace relations (WR) and HR advice as a generalist – incl. change management, performance management, recruitment and remuneration.
* Navigate the Australian workplace relations landscape, including the ability to interpret complex industrial instruments, understand the interplay with State and Federal legislation and address employee concerns.
* Apply best practice HR concepts in complex situations, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Partner with people leaders and employees to achieve organisational objectives.
Requirements:
* High degree of emotional intelligence, humility and influencing skills.
* Established track record as a strategic collaborator, and ability to effectively partner with people leaders and employees.
* Strong ability to apply best practice HR concepts in complex situations, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven track record in navigating the Australian workplace relations landscape.
