With over 30 years experience delivering high quality french inspired baked goods across Melbourne, we have a new opportunity for experienced Bakers to join our production team in Braeside. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods for delivery to various locations across Melbourne including their own retail locations.
Hours: 7pm-3am Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (Tuesday/Wednesday off)
Key Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Weighting, mixing, diving, shaping & baking of breads, pastries and other baked goods
* Baking off using rack and deck ovens
* Follow recipes and production schedules and procedures
* Stock management and ordering where required
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Quality control and continuous product improvement/development
* Working collaboratively with the team to meet high-volume production demands, particularly during peak service periods
* Assist with other production duties where required
About You:
To be successful in this opportunity you will possess the following:
* Previous experience in bakery production with a high standard of delivery (qualifications highly advantageous)
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and production methods
* Sound numeracy skills
* Excellent team player with strong written and verbal communications skills
* Ability to maintain strict quality control
