Hello, we are Eclair at the Bay, a contemporary pastry shop based in Byron Bay. We specialise in making delicious eclairs and luxury desserts, providing our customers with a delicate alternative to a traditional dessert menu. From mini-sized eclairs, mousse cakes to show-stopping Croquembouches, our unique offerings have gained popularity in the Byron Bay foodie scene.
The business continues to grow as we expand our offers to the Gold Coast/Brisbane. With big ambitions and projects, we are now looking for a new Shop Assistant to join our team.
Qualifications & experience
Must have experience in a similar role for 2 years or more
Excellent customer service skills. English speaking is essential.
Knowledges in Pastry & Dessert is a plus

Role & Responsibility
We are hiring at our first location in Byron Bay, in the role you will be responsible for:
Taking orders from customers both in-person and over the phone.
Assisting customers in selecting pastries and other products.
Providing information about ingredients, flavors, and dietary options.
Processing payments using cash registers or electronic payment systems.
Keeping the shop, dishes, and serving areas clean and organized at all times.
Closing the till and the shop in the evening.
