Overview
The Opportunity Newcastle Anglican is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join on a permanent part time basis at Scenic Lodge - Merewether NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care home. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to work in a great team environment. You will have the opportunity to make every moment matter by bringing respect, compassion, integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.
Shifts availabilities are: Nights. First Week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Second week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Role & Responsibilities
* Actively promote Anglican Care's positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
* Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
* Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
* Abide by Aged Care Standards
* Work as an effective team member
About you
* Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support, or 2nd/3rd Yr RN student
* Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
* An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to accurately document resident's care/progress
