Northern Tasmania Development – Launceston TAS
Lead regional prosperity. Shape Tasmania's future.
It's different in Tasmania. We didn't always see this as a strength. But in today's globalised world, as places feel more and more alike, we can use our difference to attract talent, investment, trade and visitors to our state.
And Northern Tasmania is different. Centred on Launceston, Australia's third oldest city and listed as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, the region thrives on the surrounding farmland creating acclaimed and award-winning truffles, cool climate wines and spirits, berries, dairy and lavender, to name a few. The region is a gateway to some of the most rugged and beautiful landscapes in the world and on the doorstep of globally acclaimed Mountain Biking tracks, wild and beautiful beaches with crystal clear water, Australia's first ever floating spa, and beautiful historic towns.
Northern Tasmania Development Corporation Ltd. (NTDC) is the region's lead development agency, supported by local governments across the North. We are seeking an experienced, values‐driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to guide our organisation, partner with our Board and members, and collaborate across governments, industries and communities to help our region flourish.
