The Infrastructure and Courtroom Technology Manager is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and continuous operation of the Courts Administration Authority's (CAA) IT infrastructure and courtroom technology across metropolitan and regional sites.
The role leads a specialised technical team in delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology services that support critical court functions. This includes managing infrastructure services such as networks, servers, storage, end-user computing, and integrated courtroom technologies such as AV systems and digital evidence platforms.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Manager plays a key role in the Authority's digital transformation by driving infrastructure reform initiatives, ensuring service quality and security compliance, and aligning technical operations with broader organisational strategy. This role combines technical expertise in IT infrastructure with specialised knowledge in courtroom technologies, emphasising leadership and team management.
Special conditions:
The following special conditions apply to this position:
* Appointment is under the Courts Administration Act 1993. Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the Public Sector Act 2009.
* Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory.
* As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process.
Remuneration:
MAS3 $127,859 per annum
