Legacy Club Services is an Australian not-for-profit that provides shared operating services to the 100-year-old charity of Legacy and its 43 Legacy Clubs across Australia. We support and enable Legacy Clubs to deliver on their purpose; supporting the families of servicepersons who have either died or given their health in service of their country.
We are now seeking a hands-on leader to join our Senior Leadership Group as the General Manager Digital and Information to continue our transformation journey with D365. About The Role
As the General Manager of Digital and Information, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the organisation's technology functions, including enterprise cyber security, IT infrastructure, and applications, systems management and internal customer support. You will ensure the effective management of data, drive operational excellence in IT service delivery, and lead the administration of IT contracts and vendor relationships.
This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader to support and enhance the organisation's technology environment, ensuring security, reliability, and performance across all IT operations.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, with demonstrated experience in digital transformation and information management and have implemented successful IT service delivery models including management of outsourced managed service providers.
The role reports directly to the Chief of Staff and has five direct specialist reports and works closely with the Senior Leadership Group to deliver Legacy Club Services strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of our digital, information, AI and technology strategies.
Lead the management of IT operations and infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and alignment with business needs, including business continuity and enterprise architecture.
Oversee and deliver cybersecurity, risk, and compliance functions by implementing proactive controls, ensuring robust disaster recovery, resilience and incident response plans and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Manage and implement enterprise applications and software, including issue resolution, release updates, integrations, and change control.
Drive enterprise data management through the implementation of data governance practices, security protocols, and efficient database administration.
Manage IT financials, including the preparation of operational and capital budgets, vendor management, and performance benchmarking to optimise return on investment.
Skills and Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role including hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Client Engagement and Business Central
Extensive knowledge of IT and Communications infrastructure (hardware, data management, operating systems, cybersecurity, cloud etc)
Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud services, and AI applications
Experience in managing a mix of outsourced IT service provision and internal IT resources, in the context of operating as a client of outsourced service providers
Strong IT project management skills (business and technical) including project costing and financial validation
Proven effective communication, team leadership and collaboration skills
Experience in IT operations financial management
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
Highly Regarded
Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health, or similar.
Experience with NFPs desirable.
Management experience in a values-based members organisation is desirable.
