About the Role
We're seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the next era of growth for the company.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:
Identify and secure new business across construction, infrastructure and government sectors.
Build and manage a balanced sales pipeline for both major projects and service wins.
Prepare and lead tenders, proposals and quotes.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to position the business for sustainable growth.
Collaborate closely with supervisors and crews to ensure seamless project delivery.
Provide activity and ROI reports to the leadership team.
Qualifications and Experience
We're looking for someone with:
5–10 years' experience in business development roles within construction, transport or equipment hire.
A passion for cranes, trucks and heavy machinery.
Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Persistence and resilience for long sales cycles.
Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across SEQ.

You've secured new accounts and reactivated dormant clients.
You've established strong pipeline visibility with accurate forecasting.
