Overview
Temporary Part-time Music Teacher for 2026 – Year 7–12 at Caroline Chisholm College, Glenmore Park, a Catholic secondary girls' school. The College is part of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) and is committed to providing a quality Catholic education, promoting a passion for learning, developing skills for living and inspiring an ongoing search for meaning.
Caroline Chisholm College is seeking an enthusiastic professional to cover the secondary temporary part-time (0.8 FTE) music teaching role for all of 2026.
The Successful Candidate
Will fit the following criteria:
* Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Music Syllabus, including the subject content and how creative arts is learned, factors affecting students' learning opportunities, and how learning can be enhanced.
* Current teaching qualifications for teaching Music.
* Ability to design effective learning and assessment tasks.
* Implementation of quality teaching practices to support learning growth for all students.
* Applied interpersonal skills and a collaborative teamwork approach within the Creative Arts KLA.
* Capacity to work in a high-functioning team that shares a vision for contemporary learning where students are empowered to achieve their potential.
* Strong classroom teaching skills to enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential.
* Commitment to a culture of continuous school improvement that builds the capacity of all teaching staff and delivers high-impact teaching strategies to students.
* Experience in teaching voice or choral work is preferred but not essential.
Qualifications & Accreditation
* Tertiary Qualification in Education
* Statements of Service
* Working with Children Check clearance
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education
