Account Recovery Specialist Role
We are recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join our centralized credit team as an Account Recovery Officer located in Parramatta, NSW.
This role is instrumental in performing the day-to-day tasks of account management and recovery within the centralized credit function.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling high volumes of collection calls to assigned customers
* Negotiating the collection of outstanding balances which have fallen into arrears
* Proactively identifying and escalating risks to the Collections Manager
* Monitoring and reporting in real-time of payment deterioration
* Ensuring customer credit claims are recorded and managed through to conclusion
* Managing customer orders within assigned credit limits
* Generating, reviewing, and distributing various reports
* Flexible in approach with workdays and working hours
* Collaborative with Sales Function to resolve matters that may delay payment
* Utilising a diary system to ensure strict follow-up with internal and external customers
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum 1-3 years' experience in a collections/recovery role
* Experience managing high-value and volume customer portfolios
* Strong and effective time and diary management skills
* Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and recovery results
* Possess a high level of resilience and adaptability to changing situations
* Previous experience utilizing SAP
