The opportunity:
Are you passionate about creating exceptional in-store experiences and driving retail performance?
CSR are looking for a Merchandise Planner to join our team at North Ryde and take ownership of store development, merchandising standards, and retail initiatives across our Gyprock Trade network.
In this role, you'll combine creativity, commercial acumen, and project management expertise to shape the look and feel of our stores, deliver impactful marketing programs, and support sales teams with the tools and resources they need to succeed. From new store openings and refresh projects to national retail activities and brand guidelines, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our stores not only look great but perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own Retail Activities: Manage planograms, mystery shopper, store aesthetics.
* Support Key Projects: Play an integral role in the project team for new stores and store refreshes
* Enable Sales: Provide tools and marketing support for Gyprock Trade network.
* Set Brand Standards: Develop tiered store guidelines for consistency.
* Analyse Performance: Track initiatives and recommend improvements.
* Monitor Trends: Stay ahead of market and competitor developments.

What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in store planning or merchandise planning (trade retail experience ideal).
* Proven ability to redesign workflows, implement process improvements, and drive efficiency.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation ability.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
* Project management experience with a keen eye for detail and trends in customer behaviour.
* Highly inquisitive, self-driven, and organised.
* Ability to travel where and when required.
