**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Group Demand Planning Manager, the **Demand Planner** plays a key role in forecasting future volume projections over a 1-24 month horizon. This is achieved through close collaboration with Sales, Customer Solutions, and Marketing teams, leveraging statistical forecasting, market insights, and project pipeline data.
**About the role**:
- Analyze sales trends across operational and strategic horizons.
- Use segmented forecasting and pipeline management across channels.
- Coordinate demand inputs from sales, projects, marketing, and strategy.
- Validate and refine baseline forecasts, identifying anomalies and risks.
- Review segmentation rules, ABC analysis, and market insights.
- Develop a 1-24 month consensus forecast with state-level input.
- Model alternative demand scenarios to assess business impacts.
- Manage demand planning in monthly cycles and drive key actions.
- Lead forecast meetings and provide insights for senior leadership.
- Improve forecast accuracy, bias reduction, and demand tracking.
- Identify and mitigate abnormal demand impacts with sales teams.
- Validate demand plans at SKU and product family levels.
- Cleanse sales history to enhance baseline forecasting accuracy.
**About you**:
- Minimum of two years' experience in demand and forecast management.
- Strong understanding of commercial drivers that influence demand planning.
- Proficient in managing and analyzing large datasets with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent planning, organization, and influencing skills.
- A team player with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at a senior level.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Exposure to S&OP; / IBP environments is highly regarded.
