Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Crane Truck Operator to join our transmission line laydown team, working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
The Central-West Orana REZ Project is currently looking for a skilled crane truck operator to share their expertise with our team. Successful candidates will travel and live in Merotherie, NSW, working on a 14/7 roster with up to 12-hour days.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely lift, move and position transmission line materials and equipment
* Conduct daily safety checks on machinery and equipment
* Communicate and work efficiently with dogmen, riggers and other warehouse personnel
* Calculate load weight to ensure safe lifting
* Assist other workforce with manual tasks where necessary
Required Skills and Competencies
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Experience in large-scale infrastructure/renewable projects highly desirable
* High Risk Work License – C6, DG, RG
* Construction white card
* Full HR class driver's license at minimum
* Own vehicle
* Will undertake a pre-employment medical and police check
* Exceptional communication skills and safety standards
