**Summary**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Plans and documents computer data file structure; develops, programs, manages, and maintains complex statistical databases; performs or supervises data entry.
- Selects data samples, prepares questionnaires and surveys, and conducts logic checks to maintain data quality.
- Uses existing statistical software and a variety of established statistical methods to gather, analyze, and interpret research data to derive useful information for research studies.
- Formats data, and develops and prepares reports, charts, tables, and other related documents and graphics.
- Participates with other statisticians in the development of statistical methodology, study design, and data analysis.
- Assists in project planning and management with clients and other staff members.
- May supervise data entry personnel and/or students on specific, project-related tasks.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
**Minimum Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Ability to plan, create, program and manage complex statistical computer databases.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
- Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
- Knowledge of programming logic and codes.
- Knowledge of statistical sampling and survey methodology.
- Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software.
- Knowledge of statistical research principles, methods, procedures, and standards.
- Knowledge of SAS programming and/or other statistical software.

Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 per year + Super
