The City of Mandurah seeks a skilled individual to fill the position of Sweeper Operator. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to maintaining a clean environment in the region.
About the Role

This permanent full-time OSE Level 3 role involves operating one of our Sweeper vehicles, providing a 'Clean Mandurah Environment' and supporting the City's operational service needs in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for undertaking sweeping operations throughout the City of Mandurah as outlined in the Maintenance Plan and as directed. This includes ensuring proper operation and security of materials, tools, equipment, vehicles, and plant being used, as well as accurate record keeping of daily job records and reporting.
Requirements

* Current unrestricted HR (Heavy Rigid) class driver's license

* Previous truck driving experience
">
* Previous experience in the operation of a suction roadsweeper (desirable)

* Excellent observation and concentration skills
">
* Safe operation and user maintenance of plant, equipment, and vehicles in a general construction environment
">
* Work independently and with limited supervision
">
* Good customer service and decision-making skills
">
* A pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing
