Overview
On behalf of a nationally recognised telco provider, we are looking for an experienced Records Officer to support the Records and Information Services team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Records and Information Services, the role will focus on compliance with retention and disposal requirements, operationalising CastlePoint for SharePoint Online, and enhancing governance through control assurance activities. The Records Officer will also work closely with Risk and Compliance Managers and may contribute to technology and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct retention and disposal assessments against approved schedules and legislative requirements.
* Assist with the design, documentation, and testing of control assurance mechanisms.
* Support implementation of CastlePoint for SharePoint Online, including automated archiving and destruction of records.
* Partner with Risk and Compliance Managers to align records practices with governance frameworks.
* Develop and deliver communications, training, and change support for records initiatives.
* (Optional) Contribute to technology and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Essential Requirements
* Strong understanding of records management principles, including retention and disposal.
* Experience in risk and compliance frameworks, particularly control assurance.
* Familiarity with CastlePoint or similar records management platforms.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
* (Desirable) Qualifications or experience in Records Management, Information Governance, or related fields; experience in government or regulated environments; exposure to AI and automation technologies
