The position of Residential Services Manager (RSM) is an exciting leadership opportunity for a person with experience in aged care or healthcare management, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being and independence of our residents.
With a proven record of providing high quality care and services the RSM will have excellent people and financial management skills, and the capacity to engage effectively with staff, residents, families and the community.
This full-time rolle will see you overseeing our Kings Meadows facility (67 beds) based in Launceston, northern Tasmania -
1. Responsible for the effective person centred, compliant delivery of residential aged care services at our Latrobe facility
2. Effective employee delegation, empowerment, support and recognition
3. Implementation of UA policies, processes and practice standards
4. Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements
5. Develop and effectively manage annual operational budgets ensuring management of expenditure, and maximisation of occupancy, ACFI and other revenue streams
As a member of the regional executive team, the RSM will report to the General Manager Tasmania.

6. Formal qualifications in health, aged care or a management related discipline, or comparable business experience
7. AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (desirable)
8. Able to deal with uncertainty and a natural ability to adapt to any situation
9. Adept at applying the requirements of the aged care act to any medical/care scenario
10. Able to put the care of residents at the core of all actions
11. Demonstrated experience with financial, quality, risk and compliance within Aged or Health care services.
12. Leadership and management experience in a complex environment including evidence of ability to build and develop cohesive operational service teams
13. Demonstrate high order verbal and written communication skills and ability to relate with all levels of staff, client and internal and external stakeholders.
