This partner specializes in delivering intelligent, sustainable, and comprehensive services to municipalities, infrastructure developments, and industrial sectors.
Due to recent business expansion, they are now looking to hire a Technical Sales Engineer. The role involves engaging with key clients to understand their preferences, technical needs, and requirements, while identifying and evaluating sales opportunities that align the company's solutions with customer demands.
Responsibilities
 * Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and technical requirements.
 * Identify and assess potential sales opportunities by aligning customer demands with suitable company offerings.
 * Offer technical guidance, assist with product selection and design for consultants, contractors, resellers, and end users.
 * Prepare cost estimates and detailed quotations.
 * Oversee the tendering process and ensure smooth execution of contracts and orders.
 * Support the development of business cases for emerging sales prospects.
 * Deliver technical presentations to clients, consultants, and engineering firms.
 * Maintain accurate sales and forecast data using the company's CRM system.
Requirements
 * Must either be an Australian citizen or hold a current permanent residency visa
 * Preferably a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a municipal water or wastewater treatment setting.
 * Ideally degree qualified - Science or Engineering based discipline.
 * Experience working with municipal water authorities, local councils, and contractors.
