Join Cavalier Homes Albury Wodonga as a Residential Construction Labourer
Cavalier Homes Albury-Wodonga is seeking a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Labourer to join our growing construction team. This role is essential in supporting the delivery of high-quality residential homes by assisting trades, maintaining safe and efficient worksites, and contributing to a positive team environment.
As a Labourer, you will work across multiple building sites, supporting carpenters, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure projects progress smoothly, safely, and to a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist carpenters, site supervisors, and trades with general construction duties
* Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around site
* Prepare and maintain building sites, including site clean-ups and waste removal
* Assist with framing, cladding, fixing, concreting, and general labouring tasks
* Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised at all times
* Follow all WHS policies, site safety procedures, and supervisor instructions
* Identify and report hazards, defects, or safety concerns
* Support timely project delivery by maintaining productivity and efficiency
* Use tools and equipment safely and correctly
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in residential construction or labouring
* Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction
* Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
* Understanding of basic construction tools and site practices
* Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
* Strong attention to safety and quality standards
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
