The Role:
The Department is seeking the services of an SAP Security support to work within the departments ERP Technologies section on full-time bases.
The resource supplied should have effective communication skills, show initiative, be able to work in team environment and have ten years or more experience working in the SAP Security technical support role and have implemented SAP Security framework in SAP ERP (ECC6.0),SAP GRC, SAP BW, Business Objects BI , SAC and SAP Fiori environments.
Skills and Experience Required:
The role is responsible for delivering specialist SAP Security and GRC services across a complex, multisystem environment. Key responsibilities include:
SAP Security Expertise & Technical Delivery
* Bring 10+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience across ECC, S/4HANA, GRC Access Control, and CUA environments.
* Design, develop, configure, and maintain SAP Security roles across SAP ECC, SAP BW/BOBI, SAP GRC, and S/4HANA landscapes.
* Provide technical security expertise to support configuration, role development, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
* Manage SAP user provisioning through both automated and manual processes, ensuring timely and compliant access administration.
* Administer and maintain user access across multitier SAP environments including ERP, BW/BOBI, and integrated platforms.
* Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to end users and power users for SAP Security and GRC issues.
Access Governance, Compliance & Audit Support
* Perform BAU access administration, SoD analysis, sensitive transaction reviews, and Firefighter (FFID/EAM) governance activities.
* Conduct daily risk monitoring and provide structured reporting on Segregation of Duties (SoD) and sensitive access risks.
* Develop and maintain a centralised risk and controls register to strengthen oversight of the SAP control environment.
* Support internal and external audit activities, including ANAO financial statement audits related to SAP access controls.
* Implement preventative monitoring mechanisms and engage risk/control owners to support timely remediation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of privileged access, user lifecycle management, and SAP GRC processes.
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements : Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a Baseline security clearance
