A leading global SaaS organisation in the financial technology space is looking for an Integration Engineer / API Configuration Specialist to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and configuring API-driven solutions from the ground up, working with AWS cloud services, and collaborating directly with enterprise clients to deliver scalable, secure and intelligent integrations.
What you'll be doing
You will work end-to-end across technical workshops, platform configuration, API design, integration development and production support.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead technical workshops with clients to understand business and integration requirements.
* Design and configure API-driven workflows and integrations into the platform.
* Build and test configurations using JSON, HTML, Python and proprietary configuration tools .
* Work with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, IAM, CloudWatch) to support integration and deployment activities.
* Create clean, scalable REST API designs and perform testing with tools like Postman.
* Troubleshoot and resolve defects across test and production environments.
* Produce release notes, documentation and technical configuration stories.
* Provide estimation for configuration work and contribute to delivery planning.
* Lead resolution of support tickets within production environments.
* Present new features and configuration progress to clients during sprint showcase sessions.
What we're looking for
* 5+ years' experience in client-facing technical roles.
* Strong experience configuring or developing platforms, APIs or integrations.
* Solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architectures.
* Confident working with JSON, Python, HTML, and API testing tools (e.g. Postman).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
