The Role
Doltone House is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager to join our high-performing Corporate Sales Team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a portfolio of venues and lead a talented team of Event Sales Managers and Coordinators to achieve ambitious sales targets while delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to align sales strategies with business goals
- Deliver on KPIs and sales targets through effective planning and performance tracking
- Promote 100% guest satisfaction across all Doltone House properties
- Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing sales team of Event Sales Managers and Event Sales Coordinators
- Show prospective clients through the venue when required and respond to client needs including arranging venue tours
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop personal development plans
- Work closely with the Head of Sales to exceed revenue goals
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Pursue high-quality outcomes that exceed expectations
- Collaborate and cultivate productive relationships
- Communicate with influence, impact and confidence
Your experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Event Sales
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a client-focused, personalised approach
- Solid analytical and evaluative skills to address business challenges
- Proactive and solutions focused, with the ability to adapt to different client needs and cultural expectations
- Relentless commitment to quality outcomes that exceed client expectations and reflect the prestige of our venues
- Collaborative by nature, with the ability to build productive relationships across clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the presence to influence, inspire and instil confidence in every interaction
