Construction Project Coordinator
Description:
We are seeking an experienced construction project coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our delivery unit, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of maintenance and construction activities.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting our ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by focusing on project profitability and client satisfaction.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Manage physical, financial, and human resources on major projects
* Ensure quality and cost-effective commercial and residential building construction is delivered to clients
* Conduct site scoping, prepare material lists, and provide timely estimates
* Supervise field staff and subcontractors, applying legislation, regulations, and practices related to building construction and engineering industries
* Provide supervisory services and contract administration for construction, maintenance, and upgrade work
* Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with human resource practices and principles
* Undertake Workplace Health and Safety audits of contractors
* Promote our organisation to clients and identify new business opportunities
* Develop close liaisons with clients to ensure product and service delivery meet agreed outcomes
* Proactively manage staff performance and conduct
Your Requirements:
* A current trade qualification
* A current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card
* Thorough knowledge of the Building Construction Industry, including quality assurance, building project management, and contract administration
