**Job Title:** Lead Creative Director
**Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Creative Director to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for inspiring our business creatively, setting the vision, and delivering creative direction that supports growth and engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop innovative and trend-driven brand campaigns that drive loyalty, engagement, and business results.
• Translate the company's strategic objectives into a bold and cohesive creative strategy.
• Oversee all creative work across paid, owned, and earned channels including digital, social, in-store, restaurant design, and advertising.
• Work closely with internal teams across marketing, operations, product, and people to ensure creative aligns with the customer journey.
• Set the vision for new product launches, promotions, and in-store brand experiences.
• Collaborate with external creative partners, agencies, and freelancers to produce high-quality, impactful content.
• Stay ahead of global trends in design, brand, and customer experience, and bring fresh thinking to the table.
• Use AI and leading creative tools to improve workflow, increase impact, and create efficiencies.
• Manage, mentor, and inspire an internal team of creatives while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Apply data and insights to measure and optimise creative performance.
• Work with social, marketing, and analytics teams to shape and evaluate content effectiveness and return on investment.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
• 10+ years of experience in graphic design, creative direction, and art direction.
• A proven track record of delivering highly innovative, award-winning creative work in the Australian market.
• Expertise in creative concept development and creative executing across all touch points; campaigns, brand identity, product and packaging, PR, activations, store design, and social media.
• Experience within a founder-led business is highly valued.
• A hands-on leader who has come up through the design ranks and enjoys remaining actively involved in creative execution.
• Strong presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite or founder-level stakeholders.
• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with Figma or similar tools.
• A deep understanding of design principles including layout, balance, composition, and typography.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to design with the customer journey in mind.
• An imaginative and curious thinker who asks the right questions and drives new ideas.
• Collaborative, open to feedback, and effective at leading through delegation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
