This is a 12-month contract, full time position.
In this role, you will provide administrative support to our legal professionals, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining a professional environment.Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy and attention to detailMaintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems for legal documents and recordsCoordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and court appearances for attorneysAssist with legal research and document retrieval using online databases and resourcesHandle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other correspondencePerform general administrative tasks, such as data entry, photocopying, and maintaining office suppliesProvide exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and other stakeholdersQualificationsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and prioritize tasksKnowledge of legal terminology and procedures (preferred)Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a law firm environment (preferred)Familiarity with legal research databases and software (preferred)Associate's degree or certificate in paralegal studies (preferred)Ongoing coaching and career development opportunitiesEnd of Year leave, 1 day first year, 4 days after 2 yearsComprehensive mental health framework, including wellbeing leave (up to 4 extra days per year)and $299 reimbursement22 Weeks Parental leave with your superannuation guaranteed and back-to-work transition policyRewards and recognition platform with fitness, retail, and entertainment discountsA hybrid flex working modelSalary Continuance & Life Insurance17.5% Annual Leave Loading... just to name a few.
