About the office/school People and Culture is a team of strategic HR professionals providing client focused, proactive and effective solutions and services for all UNDA employees. About the role We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team and be responsible for the provision of HR advice and for responding to queries on the Enterprise Agreement and associated policies and procedures. This position works in the People Services Team and reports to the Team Leader, People Services. Key Responsibilities Provide responsive, sound advice to staff to the University on a wide range of P&C matters ensuring that Enterprise Agreement, policies, and procedures are consistently adhered to. Review recruitment requests for compliance with the Enterprise Agreement and associated policies. Initiate and action processes in PeopleSoft as required as part of the workflow. Provide support in classification/reclassification activities or review of new or changed positions in line with the Classification Procedure and Enterprise Agreement. Assist with a range of HR projects when required. Maintain employment records and maintained in accordance with relevant legislation and University policy requirements. Qualifications, skills & experience Completion of a degree in Human Resources or related tertiary qualification with an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Experience in preparing HR documentation including employment contracts and agreements. Previous experience assisting in the development and/or review of HR policy and Procedures. Demonstrated knowledge and ability to interpret industrial and employment related legislation, regulations and Awards. Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience with Peoplesoft (Oracle) is desirable. Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
