Position Title: Marketing, Community Engagement & Program Facilitator
Reports to: Programs & Operations Coordinator
(With strategic oversight from the General Manager)

Initial 6-month probation, followed by a 1–2 year contract, with potential extension to a total of 3 years

Role Purpose
The Marketing, Community Engagement & Program Facilitator is a delivery-facing role responsible for bringing FNFD programs to life on the ground, while also leading FNFD's storytelling, marketing, and community engagement.
This role works directly with communities, schools, participants, and partners to deliver culturally safe programs, workshops, and mentoring, and ensures FNFD's work is visible, well-documented, and meaningfully communicated.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Facilitation & Delivery
* Facilitate FNFD education programs, including:
* school-based programs (e.g. Trinity Bay),
* workshops and mentoring sessions,
* community-based programs and activations.
* Deliver programs in a culturally safe, inclusive, and engaging way.
* Support participant development pathways across fashion, modelling, and creative industries.
* Work closely with the Programs & Operations Coordinator to ensure programs align with agreed schedules, budgets, and KPIs.
2. Community Engagement
* Build and maintain positive relationships with:
* schools,
* community organisations,
* participants and families,
* local and regional stakeholders.
* Act as a visible and trusted FNFD representative in community settings.
* Support FNFD's commitment to respectful, community-led engagement.
3. Marketing & Storytelling
* Lead FNFD's storytelling across programs and events.
* Create and coordinate content including:
* photos and short videos,
* participant stories and profiles,
* social media and website content.
* Work with the GM and Coordinator to align messaging with FNFD's strategic objectives.
* Support promotion of FNFD programs, showcases, and public-facing events.
4. Events & Showcases
* Support delivery of FNFD events, including:
* community showcases,
* hub launches,
* modelling camps,
* public presentations.
* Assist with on-the-ground coordination during events.
* Support participant preparation and engagement during events.
5. Reporting & Evidence Collection
* Collect program evidence to support reporting and acquittals, including:
* attendance records,
* photographs and short videos,
* participant feedback and testimonials,
* narrative summaries of activities.
* Provide timely inputs to the Programs & Operations Coordinator for Creative Australia and partner reporting.
* Maintain organised records of program activity.
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Experience facilitating programs, workshops, or education/community activities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with First Nations communities.
* Experience in community engagement, youth work, education, or creative programs.
* Confidence capturing content (photos, short videos, stories) for marketing purposes.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Desirable
* Experience in arts, fashion, or creative industries.
* Experience working in schools or education settings.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content scheduling.
* Understanding of grant-funded program delivery and reporting requirements.
Working Relationships
* Works closely with:
* Programs & Operations Coordinator,
* General Manager,
* Cultural Advisor,
* schools, communities, and delivery partners.
