Title: Rostering Coordinator

Employment: Full time / Ongoing

Salary: $76,372 p.a. plus super and NFP Salary packaging (flexible depending on experience)

Location: Hobart, Tasmania

About the role

Following the recent merger with Mosaic Support Services, our Rostering and Scheduling team is growing and now we have an exciting opportunity for anyone who is passionate about rostering to join our team as Rostering Coordinators at Able Australia.

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate, efficient, and compliant rosters for our Disability Support Workers across Able Australia. The area of service includes Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Access, Respite Options, and Children's Services.

Responsibilities Include:

* Co-ordinate accurate and up to date rosters for Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Access, Respite Options, and Children's Services programs in line with client support and funding plans and service delivery requirements.
* Act as a first point of contact for staff rostering enquiries, via the phone and email, ensuring a consistent and positive experience for all stakeholders.
* The Rostering Coordinator works closely with the Rostering & Scheduling Manager, Operations/Service Delivery teams, Payroll and People & Culture to deliver rosters that balance client needs, staff wellbeing, and operational efficiency.

Required skills and experience:

* Experience in rostering, workforce administration, or related functions within the disability, aged care, or health sector (desirable).
* Familiarity with industrial awards, enterprise agreements, and compliance frameworks (desirable).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Knowledge of rostering principles, industrial award/enterprise agreement requirements, and workforce planning.
* Proficiency in rostering and workforce management systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
* Previous experience in disability services, aged care, health, or a similar sector.
* A genuine and passionate commitment to the rights of people with a disability to enjoy fulfilled lives and valued roles within the community
