We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Operations Manager to join our Operations Business Unit in NSW.
The role
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, this senior leadership role will oversee operations across sites in NSW.
You will lead high‐performing teams, ensure safe and compliant operations, and deliver outstanding client service. This is a diverse and challenging position, balancing operational delivery, strategic leadership, and client relationship management.
Regular travel may be required in this role.
Key responsibilities
You will be expected to make and implement decisions relating to treatment and processes and to comply with all legislative and company procedures and systems. Key duties include:
* Provide leadership and direction to operational teams, fostering a high-performance, safety‐first culture.
* Oversee the delivery of operations and maintenance services across multiple regions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and innovation.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main senior contact for the region.
* Drive financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and contract management.
* Support business development activities, including identifying opportunities and assisting with tenders and proposals.
* Partner with the General Manager Operations to shape and deliver strategic plans for the Operations Business Unit.
What we are looking for
* Extensive experience leading teams and managing operations in complex service delivery environments.
* Commercial acumen and demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills.
* A collaborative and solutions‐focused approach to client and stakeholder management.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practice.
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
* Experience in the water industry is highly regarded.
