Specialised Clinical/Health Psychology Services Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Psychologist to join our new Women's Health Clinics team, providing specialised clinical/health psychology assessment and therapeutic intervention to women attending the Women's Allied Health Clinic and Pelvic Pain Clinic. This may include providing care for women experiencing chronic pelvic pain, symptoms of menopause and perimenopause, and concerns around their sexual and reproductive health.
This is a permanent, part-time role with 4.5 – 5.5 hours per week, offering work-life balance. The position is based at Blackburn Hospital, with car parking on site and close proximity to cafes.
The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with our nursing, medical, and allied health team to provide consumers with improved access to healthcare specific to their needs. Service delivery may include group and individualised sessions.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A Masters or Doctoral coursework qualification in Clinical/Health Psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia
* Full registration or eligibility for full registration as a Psychologist by the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA)
* Endorsement, eligibility for endorsement, or ability to work towards endorsement with AHPRA as a Clinical/Health Psychologist
* For Grade 3 applicants: Be an approved PBA Supervisor for higher degree placement and for the registrar program, and have five years experience after attainment of postgraduate qualification
* A current Driver's License
* Multidisciplinary teamwork skills
* High level written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to develop evidence-based and innovative psychology services
* Experience in design and implementation of research and quality improvement activities
* Commitment to continuing professional development and education
