The Role
We are seeking local HC/MC Drivers to join the team in the Innisfail Depot for pickup and delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight.
Both Full Time and Casual positions available working day shift across the full week and weekend work when required.
Primary Duties Of The Role Include
* Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs
* Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
* Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology
* Interacting with clients in a professional manner
* Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight
About You:
The Candidates We Are Looking For Will
* Have a current & valid HR/HC or MC licence
* Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems
* Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.
* Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.
* Be well presented, professional and reliable.
* A current and valid Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential.
Previous refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.
To Be Successful For This Role Applicants Must
* Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
* Provide a recent current traffic history report
* Be willing to work weekend shifts when required and be flexible with start & finish times
