About the role
Green Light’s delivery team are assisting in delivering projects for a known institution and have a requirement for a talented Extreme Networks Engineer. In this role, you will be providing level 2/3 and advanced technical support.
The Extreme Networks Engineer will join an established product team of specialists to design, build, deploy and support network solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Providing network-based advice to internal and external stakeholders
* Primary services include hardware maintenance, installation, network management, multi-vendor maintenance and software support.
* Providing advanced technical support and subject matter expert input to the BAU and project teams.
* Managing day to day technical incident and problem activities, including relationships with the customer.
* Developing and presenting technical documentation to assist and support the BAU team.
* Designing, building, and deploying network solutions
* Providing level 2 network support
* Investigating complex technical problems assigned to the network team and engaging others to assist in addressing such problems.
Requirements:
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Qualified up to CCNE or Extreme Networks equivalent.
* Must have deep understanding of Extreme Networks
* Extensive technical experience in design, installation and support of medium and large networking, security solutions using multiple vendors.
* Solid experience in advance configuration and troubleshooting of network based on technologies Network and Systems equipment maintenance experience.
