About the Role
The Registered Nurse provides person-centered nursing care based on best practice evidence, collaborating with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
They offer supervision and support to less experienced clinicians to ensure quality care focused on the person's needs.
Selection Criteria
* Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration: current registration as a Registered Nurse is required.
* Multidisciplinary Team Experience: knowledge of and experience in delivering nursing care within a multidisciplinary team is necessary.
* Clinical Communication Skills: effective clinical communication skills, including proficiency with information technology, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
* Evidence-Based Practice: application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized, person-centered care with a focus on quality improvement is required.
* Leadership and Adaptability: ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to ensure quality nursing care, demonstrating leadership and adaptability is crucial.
* Recent Clinical Experience: recent relevant clinical experience, ongoing professional development, and a commitment to skill enhancement are highly valued.
* Workload Management: ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively, maintaining integrity and accountability is essential.
