About The Old Grain Store
Located in the middle of Bairnsdale, our spacious café restaurant seats up to 120 guests comfortably. The building was refurbished from the towns original Grain Store into a restaurant approx. 5 years ago and has managed to keep its rustic charm.
Guests can enjoy a cocktail from the bar, book small to large business functions, private parties, or weddings, or choose to dine under the stars in the pet-friendly outdoor area.
About the role
We are currently seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Front of House Staff. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience for our guests at The Old Grain Store.
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take and deliver accurate food and drink orders.
* Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
* Work effectively with restaurant manager to ensure smooth service.
* Assist with upkeep and preparation of the bar as requested
About you
* Great communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
* Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays preferable
* Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, welcoming approach.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A presentable appearance.
* Current RSA or be prepared to obtain
