Job Description:
The Operational Training Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring NSW SES members possess the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergency situations.
This position requires a skilled professional to develop and deliver targeted training programs, enhancing member capability and capacity.
* Deliver high-quality training and development programs that cater to the diverse needs of NSW SES members and partner agency personnel.
* Collaborate with volunteer trainers and assessors to ensure seamless delivery of quality training and assessment.
* Mentor and guide members to develop foundational and technical capabilities, leveraging their individual skills and qualifications.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in facilitating or coordinating training courses and/or training delivery experience.
* A current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor/higher qualification).
* Current qualifications in one or more NSW SES Capability areas, or industry/other agency equivalence.
* Able to travel across the State as required and possession of a current full Class C Driver's License (or higher).
