Job Title: Lead Commercial Plumber
About the Position:
We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial/Civil Construction Plumber to fill a key role within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supervising onsite works, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and leading small teams to deliver projects efficiently and on time.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing regulations, civil infrastructure requirements, and safety standards. They will also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and lead small teams effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support plumbing teams on commercial and civil construction projects.
* Install, service, and repair water, gas, drainage, and fire services infrastructure.
* Interpret civil and construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Manage day-to-day onsite activities to meet project deadlines and milestones.
* Perform safety, quality, and compliance checks to industry and legislative standards.
* Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to resolve technical or logistical issues.
* Maintain accurate documentation of materials, labour hours, and project progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a valid Cert III or IV in Plumbing Licence.
* Have at least 5 years' experience in commercial and/or civil plumbing (desired).
* Proven onsite leadership or supervisory experience.
* Strong knowledge of plumbing regulations, civil infrastructure requirements, and safety standards.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and lead small teams effectively.
* Hold a current Driver's Licence (company vehicle provided).
* Possess a valid White Card (Construction Induction).
