The Role
The Industry Development Team fosters the adoption of new technologies and management methods to help suppliers grow and improve their productivity.
The Program Manager will assist businesses to develop the capabilities needed to become part of defence industry supply chains.
This role involves developing and implementing strategies to grow South Australian defence industry supply chains, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for local suppliers to access defence contracts.
* Develop and implement strategies to grow South Australian defence industry supply chains
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including international defence primes, businesses and government agencies
* Identify and pursue opportunities for local suppliers to access defence contracts
Key qualifications include significant experience working in the defence sector or industrial supply chains, understanding of state and commonwealth defence policies, presentation skills, and ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
