Whyte Orthodontics is seeking a motivated, friendly and reliable individual to join our team full-time as a Dental Assistant. Whether you already have experience or are eager to begin your dental career, we welcome applicants who bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
This role is primarily based in our Red Hill clinic, with occasional travel to our Thornlands clinic and our regional clinic in Moranbah (1–2 days per month). Travel is fully compensated as part of the position.
About the Role
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position — no weekends required.
You will work predominantly chairside alongside an experienced Orthodontist in a respected and modern practice. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical skills or gain comprehensive training if you are new to the industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Chairside assisting for orthodontic procedures
* Intraoral 3D scanning (training provided where required)
* Instrument sterilisation and infection control
* Recording clinical notes
* Reception and administrative duties (use of Dolphin medical software)
* Handling and transport of orthodontic equipment between clinics
* Delivering outstanding service to patients and their families
This is a varied role combining clinical and administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‐on patient care and front desk interaction.

If you have dental assisting experience, you will bring valuable skills to our team.If you are new to the industry, full training will be provided — your attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
Please note: Due to the full‐time commitment and travel requirements, this role is not suitable for university students.
