Recruitment Coordinator Role
The Foster Carer Recruitment Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting prospective foster carers on their journey with Key Assets Australia. You will provide a professional, caring and responsive carer experience, and complete all due diligence and administrative tasks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for foster carer enquiries, providing timely, realistic and strengths-based information.
* Arrange and conduct assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits, risk assessments and associated reporting.
* Coordinate and assist with foster carer training, information sessions, and promotional events to attract, support and retain carers.
* Maintain accurate and timely records in Key Assets' systems, contributing to a smooth and compliant recruitment process.
This is a full-time ongoing position requiring a people-focused professional who takes pride in helping others and building meaningful connections.
Requirements
* Communicate with empathy and professionalism, building trust with people from diverse backgrounds and with varying experience.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing administrative, outreach and assessment tasks with care and attention to detail.
* Bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and can adapt quickly as needs change.
* Have prior experience in administration and customer engagement, ideally within the community services sector.
* Value inclusivity and demonstrate cultural awareness, particularly in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and diverse communities.
* Hold (or are working towards) a relevant qualification in community services or a related field and have a current driver's license.
