The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the finance team. This role will report directly to the Financial Reporting Manager and will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and management accounting support across a group of corporate entities. It offers exposure to strategic planning, compliance, and key financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management reports including actuals, budgets, and forecasts
* Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure integrity of general ledger across entities
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
* Prepare general journals, cost transfers, and revenue adjustments
* Support preparation of consolidated financial statements and income tax returns
* Manage fixed asset registers and bank reconciliations
* Provide financial insight and analysis to management
* Support budget preparation and financial forecasting
* Liaise with external consultants for compliance and audit
* Identify and implement process improvements
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality
The Candidate
* CPA/CA qualified or working towards, with a relevant tertiary qualification
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Business Central, MYOB or Xero advantageous
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities
* High attention to detail, with a commitment to process improvement and integrity
