We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Phoenix PS is seeking highly motivated and passionate teachers to join our collaborative team. We value teachers who can create learning environments that are engaging, challenging and caring, ensuring that all children show progress and are successful. Our whole school vision for teaching and learning, which guides our visible learning instructional approach, focuses on teachers having high expectations, being collaborative and student focussed, using evidence-based approaches and developing positive learning environments.
Suitable applicants will ideally display the following:
* A commitment to high-impact, evidence-based pedagogy and knowledge of Teaching for Impact.
* Evidence of using data informed practice to inform and differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students. Experience using Elastik to analysis data, inform practice and monitor progress is desirable.
* A collaborative reflective mindset and experience working through the teaching, learning, and assessment cycle in Phase of Learning Teams.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills that support the development of a positive and respectful school culture. Teachers use effective strategies to establish and maintain an organised, orderly and learning-focused classroom.

Eligibility

* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration .
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website .
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
