This role is a critical leadership position following a promotion within the business. The Executive General Manager P&C is a member of the Leadership Team and holds accountability across Human Resources, Learning & Development and Health & Safety. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role leads the creation, implementation and delivery of People & Culture services and projects that foster a team-oriented, high-performance culture with a focus on customer centricity, empowerment, quality, productivity and goal attainment. This role requires a leader who combines strategic capability with practical execution—setting direction and stepping in when needed. Your influence will span the organisation as you contribute to executive decisions and resolve complex people matters. Key Responsibilities Lead and support P&C, L&D and Health & Safety teams, ensuring alignment with business strategy and cultural values Design and implement HR policies, programs and practices Drive initiatives across the full employee lifecycle, including talent, performance, engagement, workforce planning, and IR/ER Develop and implement compensation strategies and structures aligned with company goals Manage organisational development addressing succession planning, workforce development, retention, organisation design, workflow efficiency and change management Provide regular updates and strategic input at weekly Executive Leadership Team meetings for alignment across functions Prepare and present People & Culture reports and updates to the Executive Leadership Team and Board About You Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior generalist HR roles with expertise across talent management, succession planning, industrial relations, remuneration, HRIS, safety, and organisational development Experience advising, coaching, and mentoring employees at all levels on HR and employee relations matters Proven track record leading significant organisational change and transformation projects Experience as a true Business Partner within complex environments Strong negotiation skills with established union relationships Impeccable communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resources (or equivalent) What’s on Offer Executive leadership role with meaningful impact Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid work environment (in-office and remote) Purpose-driven culture supporting diverse and vulnerable communities To apply, please submit your CV along with a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role (no more than 2 pages).
