Position overview * Employment Type: Full-time (80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly ADO), On-going position * Location: Portland Campus * Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Psychologist Grade 2 * Salary Range: $88,030.80 - $112,091.20 pro rata, plus superannuation About the role South West Healthcare's Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) is a specialist service supporting young people aged 0–25 years and their families. Our service includes embedded specialist streams: * Infant, Child and Family Stream for children aged 0–11 years * Youth Streams for young people aged 12–25 years, which include Intake and Short-Term Intervention and Ongoing Care Wouldn't you like to be valued, inspired, and work with us to build something remarkable? As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-informed, developmentally appropriate treatment, care, and support to young people aged 12–25 years and their families. You will work in partnership with community-based services, primary health providers, and the broader mental health and wellbeing sector to ensure holistic care. Your responsibilities will include: * Direct service provision to individuals and groups * Consultation with mental health and wellbeing sector partners, including General Practitioners and Paediatricians * Community development and education, as appropriate to the role What you bring * A Registered Psychiatric Nurse with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered nurse and have at least 2 years' experience in the provision of mental health services. It would be desirable to have a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program. * An Occupational Therapist with a Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency. * A Social Worker with a Degree in Social Work & eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. * A Psychologist who has registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Psychologist, or a Provisional Psychologist completing a 51 program for psychology are supported and eligible to apply.
