As a Speech Pathologist, you will be working with children and their families to support communication skills, play skills, social skills, feeding and mealtimes. You will provide assessment and intervention services, utilising your knowledge of pediatric speech pathology intervention, child development and family centred practice.
You will conduct individualised sessions with children and families, as well as group therapy to support children with similar goals. You will also select, implement and monitor augmentative and assistive communication (AAC)to support different types of communication.
This role requires a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist who can build strong rapport and relationships with clients, carers, staff and external stakeholders. You will also need to demonstrate effective written and communication skills, time management and organisational skills.
