Location: Jindivick, VIC (regional Victoria) Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Casual position, flexible days) Pay Rate: $30 per hour About the Role We are seeking a motivated Food Science student (or similar qualification) to join the team in Jindivick, VIC.
This casual role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for translating complex processes into clear, practical documentation.
Flexibility with working days is required to align with production schedules.
Key Responsibilities Shadow and follow production operators on the factory floor to observe daily processes.
Document workflows and procedures accurately.
Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on observed practices.
Ensure SOPs meet compliance, safety, and quality standards.
Collaborate with production staff and management to refine and validate documentation.
Qualifications Skills Degree in Food Science or a related discipline (essential).
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
Attention to detail and ability to identify process improvements.
Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with production teams.
Knowledge of food safety and quality standards is highly desirable.
Flexibility with working days to meet operational needs.
