We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Facility Manager to lead the amazing team at our Peel aged care home.
Reporting to the Regional Manager - South, this role is pivotal in ensuring that exceptional customer service and person-centred care continues to be delivered across our Bethanie Peel site.
About the role:
You will be responsible for effectively overseeing the day-to-day management of the facility including:
* Leadership of the site ensuring a safe, collaborative and supportive environment for all staff, residents and visitors
* A strong focus on clinical outcomes and continuous improvement ensuring that all aspects of care are person focused
* Ensuring accreditation standards are met and maintained
* A strong emphasis on meeting budget and business objectives and creating a healthy, communicative working environment
* Sound understanding of rostering processes, monitoring and providing commentary around variances to budget, occupancy, care minutes against AN-ACC and highlighting roster changes required
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with the local community and within the organisation
* Requirement to be on call

About you:
You have significant experience leading and managing multiple, diverse teams. You have an established understanding of the statutory, legal and contractual obligations of the aged care sector and above all – you're passionate about positively changing the way Australians experience ageing. You will ideally bring:
* Health professional and/or business qualification highly favourably
* Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a range of stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting workload demands
* Demonstrated ability to support teams through change and collaboratively lead teams to achieve positive outcomes
* Ability to analyse, understand and apply financial information to business operations
* Understand on-the-job financials, people management, business operations / planning, and the impacts of clinical outcomes
