We are seeking an experienced Facilities Officer to join a busy Facilities Operations team supporting a large and complex portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating maintenance activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting operational excellence.
This is a 12-month role based in Leederville.
About the Role
As the Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of facilities operations. You will provide administrative, reporting, and coordination support across maintenance programs, contractor management, compliance activities, and operational reporting.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and service providers, you will help ensure facilities services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities across the portfolio
* Maintain facilities systems, asset registers, maintenance records, and site documentation
* Support contractor engagement, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
* Assist with procurement activities, requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice validation
* Prepare reports on maintenance performance, operational costs, and compliance metrics
* Coordinate meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagement activities
* Manage work order workflows, dashboards, and operational reporting requirements
* Support month-end reporting and financial administration processes
* Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Experience in facilities management, project support, contract administration, or a similar operational support role
* Strong administrative and coordination skills within a fast-paced environment
* Experience preparing reports, analysing data, and supporting compliance activities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
